LA RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Crafting the Future’s LA Residency supports two local visual artists of color each year with the space, resources, and community to grow their practice in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
This is more than studio space—it’s a year-long investment in your creative future.
What You'll Receive
✔ Free Studio Space (1 Year)
Work rent-free in a dedicated studio in Downtown LA .
✔ Stipend Support
Receive financial support to help sustain your creative practice.
✔ Networking & Studio Visits
Engage with visiting artists, curators, and gallerists through private studio visits and ongoing programming.
✔ Public Exposure
Participate in open studio events and community-facing opportunities to showcase your work.
✔ Mentorship & Peer Critiques
Grow alongside a cohort of peers with structured critiques and mentorship throughout the year.
✔ All-Expense-Paid Craft Workshop Intensive
Receive a scholarship for a two-week intensive craft workshop (Summer 2027), expanding your technical skills and creative horizons.
