GRANTS
Crafting the Future offers grant opportunities to artists of color to remove barriers to access so they can develop their craft in a supportive community.
From $500 micro grants for immediate needs to $10,000 special project grants, Crafting the Future provides funding artists can use to advance their practice, including materials, travel, applications, studio fees, or living expenses.
Crafting the Future's grant revitalized our after-school programming by connecting us with artists like London James, whose ceramic shoe workshops elevated materials quality and student engagement while deepening our understanding of craft education. This enabled us to provide students with intentional, hands-on experiences that spark pride in their work and inspired expanded programming for future seasons.
