Back to our roots
When we founded Crafting the Future in early 2019 we knew the Artist Community would want to come together to create equitable opportunities and help diversify our field. However, we didn’t know that many of our members were going to be so enthusiastic to leverage their artwork on social media to raise money for the cause. To celebrate that spirit and help CTF continue our mission, we are hosting the Fall 2023 Edition of #CTFDIY Community Fundraiser.

Why get involved?
We understand that there is a lot happening in the world today. It’s more important now than ever that we maintain the momentum we’ve built up over the years and keep working towards an equitable future for artists of color. Over the nearly 5 years we’ve been operating, the landscape of the art world has changed. We are seeing more people of color in educational institutions, showing in galleries and museums, and being awarded prestigious prizes. Our community of active artists and art appreciators has played no small roll in that change. We thank you. But there’s more work to be done.
