INTRODUCTION TO LITHOGRAPHY FOR EARLY-CAREER CURATORS AND SCHOLAR

Tamarind Institute invites applications from early-career curators and print scholars to participate in an immersive workshop in lithography and an exploration of the Tamarind archives. The five-day workshop will be held at Tamarind Institute, The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, May 19-23, 2025, led by Education Director Brandon Gunn. One month following the workshop, participants will participate in a virtual roundtable discussion about their workshop experience and areas for further research in the Tamarind Archive. Eligibility Open to candidates with a graduate degree in art history, museum studies, interdisciplinary studies or related field (or equivalent experience with museum collections), received within the last 10 years. Preference will be given to early curatorial professionals, including curators, curatorial assistants, associate curators, and postdoctoral fellows. Cost The Getty Paper Project grant covers all travel, lodging, most meals, local transportation, and workshop materials. Participants receive a $250 stipend.
